Great Outdoors Baby Crib Quilt

20 Apr

I made this quilt as part of my social ning group – ETSY kids.  The theme was the outdoors.

Made with lovely blue polka dots cotton fabric for the sky,
30% recycled “Make it green Fleece” polyester for the mountains and hills, blue striped cotton for the water, yellow fleece for the sun, and ever wonderful textured minky for the clouds. I’ve topped the mountain tops in lovely “snow” felt and have added some machine embroidered critters to the landscape, include brown bears roasting marshmallows, a goofy moose dancing on the hills, and a happy salmon jumping from the water.

I have “puckered” the water to give it more of a three dimensional affect, and have backed the quilt in the same blue polka dots as the sky and finished the quilt with green satin binding.

The quilt measures 42″ x 30″ and is stuff with filling making it fluffy and warm.

This is one of a kind, so if you are looking for something unique and lovely for a boy or a girl, this is the quilt for you.
